About this tool
Paste a list and the tool removes any line that appears earlier in the text, keeping the first occurrence of each and the original order. Matching is exact: the comparison is case-sensitive and spaces count, so "Apple" and "apple", or "item" and "item " with a trailing space, are treated as different lines. Blank lines are treated like any other line, so only the first blank line stays. It is useful for cleaning email lists, keyword lists and log extracts. Everything is processed in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
How to use it
- Paste your lines, one per line.
- Read the de-duplicated list in the output.
- If lines that look the same remain, check for case or trailing spaces.
- Press Copy to take the result.

Case matters: Banana and banana both stay. One blank line remains at the end.

Common problems
- Near-identical lines are not removed
- Matching is exact. Make the text consistent first, for example lowercase it with the Case Converter or clean spaces with the Text Cleaner.
- A blank line remains
- The first blank line is kept like any other line. Use the Text Cleaner with Remove empty lines to drop it.
- The result is not sorted
- Order is preserved. Use the Line Sorter if you also want it sorted.
