About this tool
This tool reverses your text so the last character comes first. Every character is reversed, including spaces and line breaks, so a multi-line text also has its line order flipped and each line read backward. It does not reverse word order only, and it does not change case. The result updates as you type. Text is reversed by Unicode code point, so a plain emoji such as 😀 stays intact. Characters built from several code points, such as an accented letter written with a combining mark or a family emoji joined with invisible joiners, can still come out out of order. Everything runs in your browser. It is handy for quick puzzles, mirrored text and checking palindromes by eye.

Common problems
- A combined emoji or accent looks broken
- Flags, family emoji and letters with separate combining accents are several code points, and reversing puts those parts in the opposite order. Use precomposed letters where you can.
- I only wanted the word order reversed
- This tool reverses characters, so each word is also spelled backward. Use a separate tool or a line sorter if you only want to reverse words or lines.
