About this tool
This tool merges a list of lines into a single line with the separator of your choice: comma, space, semicolon, pipe or a custom text you type. It can also join with a newline. Two options clean the list first: Trim lines removes spaces from the start and end of each line, and Remove empty drops blank lines. Both are on by default. The separators add the characters shown in the menu (for example a comma followed by a space), and a custom separator is used exactly as typed. It works as you type and runs in your browser.
How to use it
- Paste your list with one item per line.
- Choose a separator, or pick Custom and type your own.
- Turn Trim lines and Remove empty on or off.
- Press Copy to use the joined text.

Common problems
- Output has a trailing space or a missing one
- The built-in separators include their own spacing (a comma and a space, for example). Use Custom for exact control.
- Empty items were removed
- Remove empty is on by default. Turn it off to keep blank lines as empty items.
- Joined text needs line breaks again
- Use the Text Separator to split the single line back into lines.
