About this tool
Turns an SVG vector image into a JPEG. The browser draws the SVG at its own width and height and the tool encodes the result as JPEG with a Quality slider (0.1 to 1, default 0.85). JPEG has no transparency, so the transparent background of most SVGs is filled with white. The output is a fixed-size bitmap, so it will not scale cleanly like the original SVG; there is no size option, so edit the SVG's width and height if you need larger pixels. Use JPEG only when a platform requires it. Output is svg-to-jpg.jpg, created in your browser.
How to use it
- Drop an .svg file or choose one.
- Adjust Quality if needed.
- Check the preview and dimensions.
- Press Download.
Common problems
- White background appears
- JPEG cannot be transparent. Use SVG to PNG if you need transparency.
- Image is too small
- The tool does not rescale. Change width/height in the SVG source for a larger result.
- Fonts or linked images are missing
- Resources an SVG pulls from outside itself are usually not loaded when it is rendered as an image. Embed them or convert text to paths.
