About this tool
Turn any text or URL into a QR code you can download as a PNG. The code is drawn in your browser and updates shortly after you stop typing, so what you enter is not sent to a server. This version uses fixed settings: a 300 pixel image, a small margin, black on white and medium error correction (about 15% of the code can be damaged and still scan). The box starts with a sample address, so replace it with your own text.
How to use it
- Replace the sample text with your URL or message.
- Wait for the code to refresh.
- Press Download PNG to save it.
- Scan it with a phone to check it before printing.
Common problems
- Error message instead of a code
- Very long text does not fit in a QR code. Shorten it, for example with a short link.
- Code does not scan
- Keep the printed size large enough and leave the white margin around it. Test with a phone before printing.
- Need colors or a different size
- This version has no color or size options. Resize the PNG in an image editor if needed.
