About this tool
Create a classic meme from your own picture. Load an image, type top and bottom captions and change the Font size; the preview updates live. Text is drawn in white Impact-style bold letters with a black outline and always converted to uppercase. The meme is made at the image's full pixel size and saved as meme.png. The default size is 48 px, so on large photos you will usually need to raise it. Text is not wrapped, so long captions can run past the edges. Your picture is handled entirely in your browser and is not uploaded.
How to use it
- Drop an image or choose a file.
- Type the top and bottom text.
- Adjust Font size until it fits.
- Press Download.
Common problems
- Text is too small on a big photo
- Font size is in image pixels, so a 4000 px photo needs a much larger value than 48.
- Caption runs off the edge
- There is no line wrapping. Shorten the text or lower the font size.
- Font does not look like Impact
- If Impact is not installed on your device it falls back to Arial Black or a generic sans-serif.
