Website Technologies Check
Detect common technologies a website reveals in its headers and HTML.
Looks up live data What you enter is sent to our server to fetch live results from public sources. Results are cached briefly.
About this tool
Enter a URL and the tool fetches the page from our server, then looks for fingerprints in the response headers and the first part of the HTML. It reports items such as the Server and X-Powered-By headers, a meta generator tag, WordPress, Next.js, Nuxt, React, Angular, Shopify, Wix, Cloudflare, Google Analytics, jQuery, Bootstrap and Tailwind. This is a short, rule-based list, not a full fingerprint database, so it will miss technologies that leave no obvious trace and a match is a hint rather than proof. It does not report SSL certificate or hosting details.
How to use it
- Enter a domain or URL.
- Press Detect tech.
- Review each detected item and its category.
- Treat an empty result as unknown, not as proof the site uses nothing.
Common problems
- Nothing is detected
- The site may hide its headers or build output, or render everything with scripts after load. Only the initial HTML is read.
- Something is listed that the site no longer uses
- Matching is pattern-based, so an old script reference or a word like tailwind in the page can trigger a false match.
- The fetch fails
- The site may block our server, time out, or sit on a private address, which is refused.
