About this tool
Converts an SVG to a PNG you can use where vectors are not accepted, such as social posts, slides or email. The browser rasterizes the SVG at its declared width and height and the tool saves it losslessly with transparency preserved, as svg-to-png.png. There is no scale option: a small SVG gives a small PNG, and if the file declares no size, the browser picks a default that may be small. To get a bigger PNG, increase the width and height attributes in the SVG, or enlarge the PNG with the Image Upscaler (which only smooths). Everything happens in your browser.
How to use it
- Drop an .svg file or choose one.
- Check the preview and the pixel dimensions.
- Press Download.
Common problems
- PNG is too small or blurry
- Set larger width and height values in the SVG source before converting.
- Text shows the wrong font
- The SVG is rendered as an image, so it cannot load web fonts from outside. Convert text to outlines first.
- Nothing renders
- The SVG may be invalid or missing the xmlns attribute.
