About this tool
Enter a page address and our server fetches its HTML and reports: the title and its length, the meta description and its length, the canonical URL, the number and text of H1 headings, the number of H2 headings, how many images exist and how many lack an alt attribute, the visible word count, whether a viewport tag is present, and the og:title. It gives measurements, not a score or advice, so compare them with common guidance yourself. JavaScript is not run, so content added by scripts is not seen. The address you enter is sent to our server. Results are cached for about ten minutes.
How to use it
- Enter the page address.
- Press Analyze.
- Review the title, description and heading numbers.
- Fix missing or overlong elements and check again after the cache expires.
Common problems
- Title or description appears empty
- The tags may be injected by JavaScript, which is not executed here.
- Images flagged for alt text
- Only images with no alt attribute at all are counted; an empty alt used for decoration is not flagged.
- Word count differs from other tools
- The count is based on all visible HTML text, including menus and footers.
