Schema.org (JSON-LD) Generator
Generate structured data for your website using Schema.org JSON-LD format.

About this tool
Pick one of five types (Article, Product, Organization, LocalBusiness or FAQPage), fill in a few fields and copy the JSON-LD script tag. The output is a starting template that contains only the fields you filled in, with no placeholder values: Organization and LocalBusiness use name, description, URL and logo; Product uses name, description, URL and image (no price or offer is added); FAQPage needs a question in Name and its answer in Description and creates a single question; Article uses headline, description, URL, image and author. If everything is empty you get a hint instead of markup. The tool does not add address, rating, offers or other advanced properties, so edit the result before publishing. Everything runs in your browser.
How to use it
- Choose the schema type.
- Fill in the fields that apply to that type.
- Copy the generated script tag.
- Replace placeholder values, add extra properties if needed, and test it before publishing.
Example
Type: FAQPage, Name: Q?, Description: A
<script type="application/ld+json">
{
"@context": "https://schema.org",
"@type": "FAQPage",
"mainEntity": [
{
"@type": "Question",
"name": "Q?",
"acceptedAnswer": {
"@type": "Answer",
"text": "A"
}
}
]
}
</script>Common problems
- I get a hint instead of markup
- Fill in at least one field. For FAQPage both the question (Name) and the answer (Description) are needed.
- Only one FAQ question is generated
- Add more Question objects to mainEntity by hand.
- A Product has no price, or a LocalBusiness no address
- Only the listed fields are included. Add offers, address and opening hours manually.
